All payments are to be made on or before the day of the appointment and any late payment will incur a late payment fee of $15.
Cancellation Fee/No Show*
Come 1st Jan 2024 - All Late Cancelation and No Show Fees will be Charged at the Full Rate.
The recommended hourly fee set by the Australian Psychological Society is $312.
*Cancellation/No Show Policy
We have a strict cancelation policy and it is your responsibly to reschedule or cancel an appointment if you are unable to attend. We provide numerous reminders, more than required, though if your appointment is cancelled with less than 48 hours of your scheduled appointment there is a late cancellation fee which is charged at the full rate of your appointment. If you do not show for your appointment, the full rate of your appointment will be charged to you. You will have to pay this fee directly, the charge cannot be passed on to Medicare or any other third party. You will not be able to attend your next appointment without payment of any late fees. If these are not paid within 7 days, there is a $15 late payment fee that will also need to be paid prior to any further appointment.

Bulk Billing
We are not a bulk billing practice and for those in severe financial distress and require a reduced fee or bulk billing, we have a limited capacity to do so thus you may be placed on a waiting list until an appointment becomes available. If you want to be seen outside of business hours, an after hours charge may apply. Please ask about this when you call.
Rebates
If you have a Mental Health Care Plan, you will be entitled to a Medicare rebate for your session. After the Medicare rebate, your out-of-pocket expense is approximately $133. For private health fund members, please check with your individual health fund regarding level of cover and rebate entitlements. Please note that you are not able to claim both Medicare and Private Health rebates concurrently.
Private
You are under no obligation to obtain a Care Plan to be seen by our psychologists and you are able to book in at any stage to be seen privately. If you would like to be seen privately then please let your psychologist know at your first session. If you are in a private health fund, you may be eligible to receive a rebate via your chosen group, though again, please inform your psychologist so we can invoice appropriately.
