Michelle is an outgoing psychologist who has a life time of experience behind her. Michelle has worked with a varied range of clients in clinical, counselling and coaching settings, both individually and in groups. She worked as a psychologist for an employment centre for over 5 years and has also undertaken work in private practice for more than 5 years. Michelle is skilled in assisting her clients through their life challenges and in developing their own personal power. Michelle is an avid believer of providing clients with the skills, tools and strategies to become the expert in their own lives.
Michelle has been trained in a number of different therapeutic approaches, interventions and techniques during her time as a psychologist. Some of these approaches/techniques includes Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, NeuroLinguistic Programming, and Hypnotherapy. She has also undertaken training with Tony Robbins within his Leadership Program at his Date with Destiny seminar numerous times, and also his Strategic Interventions course. These therapeutic techniques and strategies can assist someone to navigate past their barriers and limiting beliefs towards living a more meaningful life. Michelle works with teenagers 15 yrs and above and adults across the lifespan. She has a keen interest in positive psychology, personal empowerment, wellness and health, and loves to help create meaningful transformations in women.
Michelle has also completed Level 1 & 2 in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
