Kymm practices within trauma-informed, person centred and strengths-based perspectives and has extensive experience supporting clients of all ages and cultures. In her career, she has held various roles offering assessment and support for clients and providing secondary consultation to professionals within child protection, out of home care, disability and community mental health sectors and has contributed to psychology research as a research assistant.
An empathetic and compassionate practitioner, Kymm offers a relationally safe and culturally secure space to work through problematic experiences, circumstances and life transitions. Kymm draws upon a range of evidence-based approaches to individually tailor her support according to individual needs. Central to Kymm’s practice is improving wellbeing and empowering her clients to be the best version of themselves as possible.
Kymm has a special interest in posttraumatic growth. She offers support to clients with concerns related to perinatal mental health, mood and adjustment, parenting and family, social relationships, developmental conditions, chronic health difficulties, disability, grief and loss and self-esteem issues.
When not working, you’ll find Kymm enjoying time in the outdoors, the arts and music, learning something new, meditation and catching up with loved ones.
