Initial consultation (1 - 1 1/2 hour) $125 (paid Pro Rata per 15 mins) Subsequent consultation (1 hour) $105 Acute Session (1/2 hour) $75
Cancellation Fee/No Show* $100.00 The recommended hourly fee set by the Australian Psychological Society is $246. *Cancellation/No Show Policy If your appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours of your scheduled appointment there is a $50 late cancellation fee if we are unable to fill your appointment time. If you do not show for your appointment, a $100 fee will be charged to you. You will have to pay this fee directly, the charge cannot be passed on to Medicare or any other third party.
We are not a bulk billing practice and only bulk bill in extreme circumstances. If you are experiencing financial stress, please discuss this with the psychologist as we do wish to make these sessions accessible for you. If your GP requests Bulk Billing, we will only accept this if you meet our eligibility criteria. If you want to be seen outside of business hours, an after hours charge may apply. Please ask about this when you call. Please check out our different Referral types as you may be entitled to obtain gap free assistance through the Better Outcomes (ATAPS) program. Please ask your GP if you are eligible for this.
If you have a Mental Health Care Plan, you will be entitled to a Medicare rebate for your session. After the Medicare rebate, your out-of-pocket expense is approximately $73.
Registered Psychologist and Social Worker Sessions
For private health fund members, please check with your individual health fund regarding level of cover and rebate entitlements. Please note that you are able to claim both Medicare and Private Health rebates concurrently.
